Happy New Year!

First off lets start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year and here's to ushering in the next decade with a bang!

Everyone here realizes it's been a bit since our last post but not without good reason. We have been working hard on some portfolio pieces in between some annual report and studio work which has been keeping us really busy around here. Over the next few blog posts we'll be showing off some of our new images from our portfolio along with some of the process shots so everyone can see what's really going on when we create some of our images.

Wanting to keep the portfolio from getting a little long in the tooth we decided to come up with a series of shots revolving around a box of syringes we have in the studio. We had some models as well as some real people come in and help us pull this off.

A group of these shots dealt with the issue of substance abuse. We wanted to show off some of our digital wizardry so we decided to wrap the syringe around our models neck to create an image of someone being overcome by their addiction.

We started out with the shot of our model Mara. Then shot our syringe and a clear tube so we could "create" our own syringe in post. Here are the three shots used to make our image.

We burned the midnight oil on this one and came up with this.

After looking at the image for so long we decided it needed some text to add more interest and give it the feel of a real public service ad. There you have it! Check back soon for more images from this series and again have a Happy New Year!
